Baby Boy Hats

Posted on May 20, 2010.
Baby Boy HatsIn hospitals, not all girls wear pink hats and baby boys wear blue hats?

I saw a picture of my baby to the hospital and saw me, a girl is wearing a blue hat. I was wondering if all hospitals had the hat in pink = girl, blue hat rule = boy?

My hospital is my son a blue hat with pink and purple stripes. I do not think this is as it sometimes has to cover her head. At home with me, he wore pink almost all the time. It scared and started to cry when I dress in dark colors such as black or navy. Lol.

Well actually used a blue color girls, I think the girls look so cute in red though, but at the end of the day dress you children whatever color suits them, there no rules, what are your children not to other people, my daughter does not wear trousers dresses are more modern. Report Abuse

The hospital I went hat was removed (pink, white and blue).
And no it is not a "rule". My cousin (a girl) had a blue hat also.

When my sister had her baby, who was a girl, they gave him a yellow hat.

the hospital I had when I had my daughter does not go to this rule. Most hats mint green or yellow. They had little cards in cots in the whole world to know what sex the baby is the baby is inside or not, etc.

My son wore a hat of ecru and white shirt. My first daughter was wearing a blue hat and pink striped, and my second daughter also had a hat offwhite, but she had this thing sewn pom-pom on top that was blue and pink.

When I had my daugher (December 2) they put a red, green and white hat on her - Volunteers make hats for the hospital. they did for Christmas - we have not a rose.

Arnt women allowed to dress babies in it what they want? Maybe it was a blue-violet.

I was allowed to dress my child that I wanted. But because its a boy I did dress in blue mainly.

I do not think it matters. It's just a color. They can not make a rule about the colors! Most hospitals now use green or yellow light.

In the first two hospitals which I used, they just used a white hat with pink and blue stripes on it. In the third hospital that I used, they had a lady who knitted hats pink and blue for all babies. Each baby gender got the same color hat. All hospitals are different. Some hats just order of distribution companies, some of them handmade by volunteers. I suppose if they did the pink and blue, so maybe there were lots of female births and that they no longer pink. lol Who knows.

It depends on the hospital. hospital where I had my son gave him a hat that was pink and blue stripes. he just wore when they brought her to me after his first bath of the newborn and the tests were performed. Then I took off and set aside to go to her baby box. nobody took pictures of him in him. but it was a cutesie!

in my hospital, they used hats multi-sex. my son has a blue hat and pink.

no your baby can wear whatever you want, they have no rules to say which color you choose for her baby.

Within the hospital where I work and nursing preceptorship delivery, we had a baby hat color: it was blue and pink stripes! The stripes are very small while the hat looked blue background!

In the hospital where my baby is born, the little hat were beige.

If my children were born, they were hats were white with blue stripes and pink.

If I had my daughter 5 years, I was allowed to dress her that I wanted. They didn't make hats as blankets to the hospital. Most hospitals now stick to yellow and green. Nice unisex colors. On the other note if I was described as a.
