Bow Tie Etiquette

I'm going to a black tie affair and so I want to stay off. I do not look like the next man if that is the order of tux that I can have for it. and I know I have to wear a black bow tie.

There are many ways to go. And you do not do the traditional black bow tie! You can be a thin black tie, an Ascott ...

You can also wear a skinny white tie if you choose to go with a tuxedo shirt, black with black. If you do this, make sure to have a crisp, bright white pocket handkerchief. And maybe the shoes two tone (black and white).

But please! No matter how much you want to stand out, to avoid all of the following, unless you want to look like an actor of cheese:
Top-hats.
Cannes.
- "Interesting" tuxedo color. No purple, yellow ...
Fur-Gaudy.

And I do think that men in different tuxedos even look very different. It's all in how you present yourself. You can not go wrong with a well-adjusted, classic tux.
