Is my red suit cumberbund acceptable for my year 11 prom? I rented a cumberbund red dress and bow tie for my school year and PROM 11 I dont know when I made the right decision or not. Are cumberbunds still popular? Will a lot of people with them? as I am concerned that I might be one of the only people with a cumberbund. DONT cumberbunds My friends have rented vests and I'm worried it be an intruder. Can someone help me because I am lucky to be staying with a cumberbund or change to a suit jacket? Honest answers please what is important!
Although the jacket is now more popular Proms, it only reflects the lack of modern youth knows how to dress. I can only hope reprehensible American taste for ties long evening dresses has not crossed the Atlantic. At my prom, the majority of men were indeed wearing vests (waistcoats, 'as they are known in the States), but the men in tuxedos were better dressed. Tuxedo belts are still very fashionable.
The modern vest is cut too high and shows little shirts too:

The cummerbund, however, is much more good taste:

The first picture looks like a man at a funeral. The second is like a man on the city.
I would, however, recommend black on red you want to look like James Bond, right? Again, I'll give you the pictures. You decide:

If red is intended to correspond to the date of your dress, you can always wear a red handkerchief or pink or red carnation in his buttonhole.
The best part of the black cummerbund-You can pair it with black straps heat should force you to remove your jacket.
Finally, there is nothing wrong with being a man of curious, as long as you're also the best dressed man there.
