Men's Fashion Faux Pas We have all made fashion mistakes from time to time, but some fashion mistakes made by men are just unforgivable. If you want to make sure you do not fall into the trap of most flagrantly snafus, use a little common sense and follow these five simple rules:
ONE: Laying the ties fantasy. Okay, one or two thin ties are crazy drag family reunions, meetings Silly, or Halloween. But have pity on the rest of us and each other outside the conference room or other setting in which you want to look respectable. The problem with the latest in clothing, is that what is funny now, is generally not humor for a long time.
TWO: Never, never and I mean, wearing socks with sandals. This is a worrying trend. Please do not participate, it is allowed to install on. Please! Wearing socks with sandals is the fastest way I know to look goofy. So if you want to look goofy, go ahead. But forewarned is forearmed. Save your sandals for the beach or around the house. Do not take the office and never, ever wear them with socks.
THREE: Always follow your socks with your suit. When choosing socks, the basic rule is to consider the proceedings instead of the boot in other words, if you wear a navy blue suit with black shoes, socks to join the Navy. And when wearing a light suit, make sure the socks are darker than the color, but a shade or so lighter than the shoes.
FOUR: Keep away from designer labels in-your-face. Want to be a walking advertisement? Only if someone pays you a lot of money for a very short period of time. Wearing these boldly designed labels can tell others that you have paid a lot for your clothes, but they are generally not a sophisticated look. Wearing designer names does not necessarily elegant. Stay sober and keep it simple.
FIVE: Personalize your shirts, if necessary. Even the best costumes need to change. Pants need to be shortened, jackets must be made, sleeves must be narrowed (yes, you can ask your able to lighten up your sleeves), and buttons must be aligned with the buttonholes. Most guys shoulders are not perfectly even (who knows?) Means that your jacket is on the shoulders often slightly askew). Of course, you can buy your correct size, but then able to adapt to your body. It can not be a big difference, but it will be the difference between being appropriately dressed and being stylishly dressed.
