Double Headband

In the 17 years I was in the helmets, I could not tell you exactly how many times I entered the office and a customer spotted the unnecessary equipment. Most people who sell phones also sell headsets too, but as an additional line. Unfortunately, many people either do not know their products or misleading statements in selling unsuspecting customers more equipment than they actually need.

If you're about to buy a new phone system or headphones for your desktop - Spoil yourself in arming you a few facts on phones and headsets.

First, assemble the brand and model details of the telephone equipment you already own or want to buy and make specific inquiries on the telephone system / s helmet compatibility.

1. Is the phone with a headphone port, where the helmet can be simply plugged?

2. Are there programs available that makes a helmet on or off by pressing a button on the phone?

3. Are there specific headsets are made for telephone equipment for? Sometimes, the best performance can be obtained by purchasing helmets which are tuned to a brand and model of phone. Generally, this is not the case however.

4. It is noisy? Consider the environment in which the helmet will be used and if so, the helmet of good results with or without an amplifier? This is actually one of the most important issues of all. The answer will determine if you need to just buy a helmet - or an amplifier or switch too. Potentially double your bet!

5. What style of helmet you have in mind? T it give enough volume to listen? Some phones support monophonic (single ear type) style helmets headband without amplifiers. The problem is that some users want to wear overear styles and design of some of these sets is where the speaker of the headset is off and ears away from the users - not nearly as effective as the acoustic headband style that weighs against the ear, providing a tight seal. There are other styles that can be overear supported without an amplifier too - but they are worn with a headset and many, many people do not like this "thing" sticking to the ear and complained of itching and it is uncomfortable.

6. The best way to find out is to trial the product before buying it - insist on this point if you're not sure what you're about to buy.
