Harry Potter Scarf PatternCrocheting a Scarf Harry Potter, what model is best? Thank you?

Hi, So I understood that I am doing a Gryffindor scarf first, I really like the hook, so now the problem is, I can not decide whether to make stripes more here:

or narrow bands:

Thank you for your help!

I like the longer the better

The first is more like that in the movie.

The wider strips look better

It's really something you'll have to decide. You do not know me (or other responders) then no matter what we love? You do not scarf for us, you give yourself. Ask yourself a few questions to see which you prefer.
Which will look better with most of your coats or jackets?
Which one will be easier to do?
Which would be more fun to do?
Which one will be more recognized for what it is?
Which will get more use from?

Does any of this a big difference for you? If so, what issue is most important? Taking the answer to that question and run with it.

If you do not know yet, toss. If you are disappointed with the result, you know the one you like best. Make that one. If you are not disappointed with the outcome of the draw, making the scarf that has won the lottery.

I think the larger bands better than pinstripes. Plus it would probably be quicker and easier to do with more stripes.
