Headwear

Hello
like many of you know, there was a law that was adopted in 2004 by the French government which banned students from wearing a hat (including religious) and also to show signs of a religion (ie. large crosses, etc.).
I wondered if it was deleted, or is still in force?

The law is still in force in France and to the best of my knowledge, has not been revoked.
