Bonsai trees (miniature replicas of large trees) have been a source of beauty and terror into the private gardens and arboreta public for decades. You will be able to choose a tree or shrub, perennial species that will complement any decor and / or adjusting the size and style you want for your bonsai. There are bonsai that are available for parameters both internal and external. There are several sizes and styles and varieties of bonsai trees that will add a special touch to your existing dedcor.

History

Although the term Bonsai tree is used as a general term scanning of all miniature trees, many other cultures have similar traditions. China has a tradition similar Penjing and Vietnam has the tradition of miniature living landscapes known as non Ha²n bu. Bonsai is the Japanese term roughly translated and a tray (good) or planting more and more (CSI). The purpose of Bonsai is meditation and decoration and finished products are considered an art form. There is a long history of container (tray) grown Bonsai trees. Learning provides an outlook on what the traditional bonsai and how you can apply to your own dedcorcor or lifestyle.

Plant Breeding

When you get your source material for your bonsai is important. The growth of your tree from seed (not the common practice) is rarely given the time it takes to achieve a look of middle age or older at the factory. Knowing the environment (cold, hot, dry, rain, etc. ..) the plant live is essential to the selection of source materials. Ideally, all material used will be indigenous to the place where the tree will be displayed. This is especially true for trees for display outside, but must be kept in mind for display inside. However, bonsai can be created from any woody plants of the final selection to adapt to the creative palette of the producer. Go to your local nursery for starting materials until you find your comfort our source material.

Style and size of containers

The container is a key consideration for the final display of bonsai. Any container used must have openings in the bottom to allow water to flow through. The size of the final presentation pouch should match the aesthetics of what you see in the final product. In addition, containers should be used for training during the growth or the formation of plants to achieve the desired final shape. Training containers hold several plants and require a large volume of soil. The largest volume of soil allows the roots to grow more freely during the training phase and created as a root system of tree health. If you are only growing a bonsai tree, the pouch containing the final presentation and training can be the same.

Pruning Tools and training / pruning trees

Usually in games and can be found locally. Buy a starter kit and add the tools you need as your knowledge and skills increase. Pruning / training / shaping of a bonsai tree is essential in the care and development of the tree. The pruning techniques are the basic cut off, the size of roots, trunk and branches, wiring and tightening. Root prunning and repotting are the essential skills necessary for the overall appearance of the bonsai tree. The tools you use are potentially important to make each production technique and easy as possible.

Buy vs. growing your own bonsai Tree

The largest single discount for the purchase of a loan for display Bonsai tree care. If you buy a Bonsai tree filled, you will not have developed the skill set (size, cutting, replanting, etc. ..) to maintain the tree. You can always pay for maintaining the tree, but the enjoyment for me has always been in the work and the feeling of accomplishment. Growth / training a bonsai requires patience and commitment to a long-term. Years can be spent in training and, possibly, maintenance of your bonsai, but there is time.
