How would you personally if the child in the United States teaching your audience wearing the hijab headscarf alias? Would it make a difference what age your child?
Well, I'm Canadian, and there is a teacher who wears a hijab in public schools, I did my course co-op.
Nobody gave af ***, but again, it is Canada and we tend to be a little less insane.
costs
no difference
clothing is a serious matter.
I feel as if they had something to hide.
I'd be ok with him as he was a normal person and not try to bring religion into the classroom.
Do not care as my children learn the subjects they are supposed to.
It does not bother me at all. I want my child to positive role models in this pluralistic society.
For me, it is no different than my child being taught by someone wearing a Christian cross or Jewish yamaka.
I do not want.
It's better than my child's teacher wearing a blouse neckline and a miniskirt.
What is ironic is that the hijab is the notion of women. Before, women were simply stay at home because they did not want other men looking at their beauty. With the hijab, but they could not leave the city, go to school, finding a job, and enjoy other freedoms. I think they take it off whenever they are in an environment where there are no men, as in a classroom or a health spa for women. Thus, the teacher of a class of primary school would probably remove the hijab in education.
The Koran does not demand that women have been hijabs and burqas. It simply says they should be modestly dressed.
It makes no difference.
No, it would not make a difference to me whether they have kept religion out of the classroom.
My son has teachers who wear crosses, and I do not disagree with those who either.
I would be very good.
Why should it? While the teacher is there to teach the information in a secular teacher's religion is unimportant to me. It is when the teacher introduces a religious bias in teaching the way I am the object.
I would not care what the teacher was wearing religious garb.
I prefer that the teacher would not be too provocative dress if I had a son, and he was between the ages of 10-17.
It does not bother me if the teacher has been good in their work.
My child will grow up different in a multicultural society, including Muslims, pagans, Buddhists, etc. have belief in my own does not make you a bad person or bad at their jobs.
The thin line is - in this example - if the teacher began to preach Islam to my child. Children are impressionable and inclined to love and trust of the adults around them. I prefer that my child should not be confused, but exposed to alternative religions when age appropriate. ie they can reason about their own.
I would say:
"Here is a person dedicated to their faith and not afraid to show it!"
A green turban would be even better!
You are not authorized to wear the green turban unless he participated in the Hajj (annual pilgrimage to Mecca.)
whatever
no difference
Just fine
I have no problem with that.
It would not at all, and it would not make a difference in the age of the child. In fact, if the Sikh Muslim or other, I encourage my child's teachers to demonstrate the variety in the classroom. You do not talk about religion, but cultural differences can be very interesting and could help to dispel prejudices narrow-mindedness among students.
Time for teachers to find new jobs.
I wouldnt like that one bit. then again it is my right to not like it at all. As an American citizen, I have a voice and a vote. Some people just do I.
