Ivory Bow Tie

My son goes to his ball girlfriends. It has an ivory dress with a bow tie in ivory, it also has a fishing vest with a tie fishing to match her dress. My question is should he wear a tie to match the fishing vest or ivory bow tie to match the color? He wants to wear a bow tie ivory. What is the proper etiquette or fashion? Please HELP!

Well, I'm no expert, but I think it would be better with the bow tie ivory. Chole and ignore that person, I think its great for your son to wear a dress ivory, absolutely unique:)
