Is it rude to wear bandanas / hats inside Japan? It really depends on the creation. When you're around close friends and family in a casual setting at home, I think it would be * OKAY .* But Japan is generally a very good / polished country. Wearing hats indoors at mealtimes or at a host would be considered rude. My foster mother hit my friend Shinobu on the head with chopsticks to wear a hat indoors so I guess it depends on the person. But I'd be safe and do not wear hats inside. haha.
Not only can you! but 4 out of 5 dentists recommend!
Why Not?
I've never seen anyone with a bandana on his head to Japan so I can advise you on this subject. Maybe some young men wear baseball caps all the time. I certainly would not want to wear a Fedora inside Japan.
yuppp
its a bit like wearing bandanas / hats during the national anthem
I think its rude.
but some young generations are sometimes inside caps ....
Hehe, I just read this thread because I wanted to know the answer for me. I usually wear a hat outside, but often forget to remove the inside ..... then thank you for Askin.
YES Shouse and also an elderly home.
It would not be advisable in Japan because of their original culture. It is also true that their young generation does not care much.
