Karate GlovesTie a karate belt or your pants will be well down

I have a five year old son who recently decided he wanted to take the art of karate. "Well, as you might guess, I was thrilled he wanted to get involved in something he could learn a lot for the life that lies ahead. I did not know that I too, would become an expert in the ways of karate fashion!

We went through all the steps to get her to sign and Karate Gi. Now, all he had to do was wait for the big day he was to start his class. He ran around the house with his gloves on Karate SpongeBob, cut everything he could lay hands on the girl. With his enthusiasm, he soon had the whole family into the spirit of things and we were all anxious to get to classes starting.

Well as the big day approached, he began to wear his gi day and night. It was not very good at knots so this quickly became a dilemma. He put on his uniform to fight against the evil in the house I had to quickly tie the belt on his uniform. Then, when he would return to his own personality, he wants a new Quick Draw McGraw change IG. I, of course, obliged.

Well, that lasted until the big day. When the day arrived that he was going to his first karate class, we all took great pride in him is preparing for his first lesson. I helped him to dress, to bind all along the white belt around his waist small. I made a very strong knot to keep it on his chest and left.

When we arrived, he walked proudly into the room to have some of the other students giggle at him. I looked around to see what was wrong and why they would do. Apparently, to my surprise, I had tied his belt karate completely wrong and it looked as if he had a huge bulge in his belly.

It did not matter to him, he was there in all his glory, proud as can be.

One of the fathers of other children gave a brief lesson on how to attach belt and I called him immediately to solve the problem. I was a little too late when he turned towards me, jumping in air, the upper half of his gi was defeated and almost dropped him because of my terrible knot. I got more than me as soon as possible and so fixed that was not wise. I learned that the belt should go just above the hip bone, because if there is any other way, it will detach and fall. The ends of the belt should be of equal length to make sure this does not interfere with your body parts getting caught in it and you should ensure that the belt does not cross at the back.

He loves his karate class. I love my wrestling, jiu-jitsu and kickboxing classes. As a family, we have covered!
