Knifty Knitter Scarf

My chemistry teacher to let me use a knifty knitter who makes scarves. Im done with it but I do not know how to stop and remove the knitting. I want to give the scarf to my grandfather for Christmas. HELP PLEASE!

OK, use the stick thing that goes with it and pull a loop through another loop until you reach where you started. Cut the wire off to a tail. shoot through the first loop and knot! So, have fun!
