Sea World in San Diego, California, is a cool vacation spot for families. The shows are of course one of the most common, but the rides are so much fun. At Sea World there are many things to do, including hotels to stay in and restaurants to eat less.

Sitting on 150 acres on the shores of Mission Bay, Sea World boasts sea creatures who make performances, exhibits of sea life and a theme park with rides and playground. That place is a resort ideal for families with children.

Shamu the famous three ton Orca killer whale star in his own show. He plays with a trainer and with other killer whales, diving, splashing and swimming to music every day. If you want to see the Shamu show, better be prepared to be splashed if you sit close to the performance.

The dolphins, otters and sea lions shows both during the day. There is also a petting pool, where you can wade in the pool with the dolphins (and a trainer, of course). This is limited to older children and adults.

There is a pool for small children where they can interact tide and reach smaller creatures of the sea, feel their textures.

A shift in walk-way you will cross the water birds, including penguins. Watch them play in the water through their huge windows in the rooms.

An amusing feature of Sea World was able to watch closely with some of the marine inhabitants. A place, saving the manatee, you'll get to see these gentle creatures with sea cows interact. The manatees have been moved from Florida and the Caribbean because of the jeopardy they face being slow creatures.

Another exciting exhibit is the encounter sharks. You can enjoy a close up view of different varieties of sharks that swim in a closed glass tank as you glide along a conveyor belt. The walk through the shark tank, where you can see them swimming around and above.

The rides are always a hit with children (of all ages!). Because the weather in San Diego is mild, almost every day are very pleasant. Be sure to check the route 9 passengers river raft that takes you through the fun rapids and waterfalls.

There is even an attraction that takes you through the Arctic wilderness and the "North Pole". Here you can see the polar bears and walruses swimming!

If you're hungry there are plenty of restaurants to eat at breakfast, lunch and dinner serve all kinds of food Americans. There are various kitchen enough to please the whole family.
