Is it illegal to buy fake / replica Oakley sunglasses? I heard that Oakley, Inc. has continued websites selling counterfeit sunglasses with their high quality. This patent infringement to sell items with the name of Oakley. But it is illegal to buy? And if so, how serious a violation is it?
No, it is not illegal. But it could be very soon.
I doubt it b / c if the glasses do not have a logo or design that Oakley have registared, trade marked, and then if theres no. thats the beauty of a good hit out
I'm sorry to say, but yes, it is illegal to buy a wrong replica / whatsoever, simply because it is trademark infringement, and it hurts the owner of the original brand. It is smaller form of embezzlement or theft.
About gravity is the violation? How would you feel if you did? Your idea or design stolen and used by someone else to make money must come from you?
If you just want the issue because of its trade name, pop for the real thing. But even better, if you do not want to pay these outrageously enormous sums of money for high marks, finding items at a reasonable price you love that really show what you've got a lot of style. And also show that you did not need to rely on brands to look cool.
I doubt that it is illegal to buy. I bought one in New York. They have everything from knockoff in every corner! Everyone should be discontinued if it does.
I do not know but if it is illegal to sell, it's likely illegal to buy. I know you may not buy pirated DVDs, so it's probably the same thing for sunglasses.
I know this is going to sound stupid, but I remember that lady in Ohio has erupted for the sale of imitation and the News report said something if it is illegal to sell but not buy .
Yes, of course. you know that the sale is illegal. thus, the purchase is as patronizing and allowing those suppliers to continue to sell illegal.
consumer may terminate the illegal sale by not buying them. If you do not buy, they do not right?
It is the fault of the seller, not the buyer, when purchasing fake goods. Even if there are actual laws that otherwise no one can ever judge a buyer to buy anything fake or knock-off.
