Rob Norton vs. David Dolan Boxing Live Streaming

It will be a contrast of styles to Birmingham on Friday when British cruiserweight champion Rob Norton, a southpaw left, defends his title against David Dolan, a former amateur champion with an orthodox method of stand-up boxing.

Norton, 37, is much better known as a professional, but Dolan was gold medalist at the Commonwealth Games and three times national champion amateur in the United Kingdom

Dolan had only 12 professional fights, but he is 29 and must make a gesture. His trainer, Neil Fannan, who guided Michael Hunter for the championships at 122 pounds, said that Dolan is ready. Though Dolan has never coached more than six rounds, Fannan is known to his boxers in great condition. Michael hunter, for example, was known for his frenetic pace, Bell of Bell, a 12-rounders.

Norton fought at a level much higher than Dolan and it was the 12-round distance four times. In his last fight he easily outpointed the game but limited Micky Steeds to win the vacant British cruiser. He seemed to have bothered Steeds and bamboozle the beginning to the end of his Orthodox movements and managed to land almost at will while his opponent has tried to understand.

That Dolan along with his boxing, letting her shots and does not allow Norton to take control of the fight.

Dolan originally boxed as a heavyweight when he turned professional and his only loss was in the tournament Prizefighter London (eight boxers compete in bouts of three rounds on the same night) when he won his first two contests, but was outpointed by Ireland Martin Rogan in the final. Rogan was too big and strong for Dolan, he fell into the first and third rounds. Dolan fought with commendable spirit, however, and seemed to hurt a couple of times Rogan.

In his last fight, Dolan comfortably outpointed Rachid El Hadak, a victory like El Hadak won the Cruiserweight title French in his next fight.

Norton has been around for a long time, but Dolan had a lot of international experience in the amateurs. He boxed in major events such as world and European championships and won for Britain against the United States when he beat Olympic representative Devin Vargas although Dolan lost against Matt Godfrey at another meeting between the two countries.

One thing that worries me a bit of Dolan in the fight of Friday is that it always seems to struggle against lefties in amateur tournaments, losing to Alexei Lezin left-(Russian world champion) and Viktor Zuyev, Olympic silver medalist from Belarus, who was downstairs when he was arrested in the first round left Alizade, Azerbaijan, in the 2005 world championships in China.

Dolan beat veteran lefty Lee Swaby as a professional, however.

It might take some time to familiarize themselves with Dolan Norton unconventional way of fighting, but if he can get his right hand to work and put pressure on the older man, he can begin to enter the fight.

Norton is one muscled veteran who can punch with authority - six of his last seven wins came by the stop. Dolan took heavy punches of the greatest heavy weight division, but, and he retaliated. He showed T. endurance
