All you have to do is show up in Palm Beach, Florida and bid on what are sure to be many bidders as the first of a limited set of Carbone is directed to Barrett Jackson on April 3. As with all Vettes first round, this issue of carbon should create some excitement and great deals.

The Corvette Z06, 2011 promises to be a carbon instant classic with many articles on it taken from the ZR1 Brembo brakes such as, control of magnetic suspension, spoiler and a splitter. However, the Corvette Carbon not going to be a hybrid offspring of the ZR1 and it will be in its own right to be something special.

1GM only produce 500 Total Carbon 2011 Corvette and you can get yours in showrooms this summer, but do not expect to pay sticker. The list of those who are already chomping at the bit to have this sophisticated piece of the machine is long and distinguished. Really who could blame anyone for wanting to own this animal?

The car is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Corvette at the 24-Hours of Le Mans and as the name suggests there are many carbon fiber smattered in the car. Included in the parts being made of light material are sills, engine cover, and the steering wheel emblem. Even Syncros transmission are coated with carbon. The Vette is limited finished in black lamps from, mirrors, spoked wheels and black complimented with a dial that looks almost European style.

When all is said and done in 2011 Z06 carbon is light and fit the Corvette that is capable of beating the Standard Z06 Corvette for a period of three seconds per lap full story instead race at Laguna Seca. While the lighter weight has something to do with the faster time, the Michelin PS2 on all four corners are not bad either.

GM has been very successful during the recent sale of its first runs at Barrett Jackson in 2009 the first Corvette ZR1 went for a whopping $ 1 million. GM also sold the first retail 2010 Camaro with the auction house for $ 350,000. With these numbers you just know that the first Corvette carbon is bound to bring in the offers.

The auction will be televised on the speed and if you're a Corvette enthusiast you do not want to miss this piece of history when it hits the auction. Although you may not be able to afford to build the first carbon Corvette, you can always get carried away by the excitement of all those who will push the bid higher and higher.

Whoever ends with the Corvette carbon number 01 will have a difficult choice. Did they drive around and enjoy everything Corvette or are they simply make a show car and look with love every day? While the latter is probably the best for retail sale, driving, it would be much more fun.
