Remedie for sailing gloves smelling? I have a pair of black gloves Harken Magic to sail, and they tend to smell a lot, even after being cleaned and soaked in particular. Any idea how to solve this problem? Thank you.
Soak in white vinegar for several hours, then wash with water and detergent, hang outside to dry.
Try to ride in a dryer for a while with a couple of scented dryer sheets. Do it on the cold to avoid withdrawal.
Put them in the washer and wash ... I do, they are made to stretch and shrink minimum, mild and dry ... and FYI: I go through over with baby powder on my boat that never went on the funds from my child ... and I can keep a small stirring of it next to my gloves, and one for when I get out of the shower. It does wonders to keep you dry in the tropics.

Try spraying with vodka (seriously). Vodka acts antibacterial deodorant.
