Sewing Hats

I tried to sew by hand, but it seems a lot of time. my hats are very thick and bulky. i hook with wire my hats chunky weight, also double-stranded. It was quite long since I have not used a sewing machine (like 20 years. There are at school) and wish to purchase something fundamental, friendly, yet powerful. suggestions?

Looks like you need a machine that is capable zig-zag. you can put in place to make breakpoints. Virtually any machine capable zigzag house can handle that, you might want to check settings on the presser foot height. Home machines used for commercial purposes will void the warranty on the machine, so you can be as comfortable with a used computer.
