Sunscreen HatsHow to save our skin from sun damage Naturally (part I: Sunscreen)

Summer is here and we are ready to go to the beach for some sun to look fabulous (as we think). In fact, there is no such thing as a safe tan, and unfortunately, studies show more and more that there is no such thing as safe sunscreen either. You may think that sunscreens protect against skin cancer. Well, they protect against sunburn, like cancer ... It depends.

Everything we eat our blood is all that we apply to our skin is absorbed into our blood. Have you noticed how sunscreens contain many chemicals regularly? Studies show that chemicals sunscreen are left on the skin, the more they will be absorbed into the body, and that means we have more toxins, which is very dangerous for our health.

If we have a good immune system and eliminative, we can manage the additional exposure to toxins. Otherwise, we need to detox time to avoid becoming a toxic trash. But what about our young children who have less developed processes of elimination, and have a larger surface area per body weight than adults? Did they need more chemicals in their bodies?

As for me, I do not use sunscreen because I try to stay out of sunlight from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. and wear a hat or trying to be in the shade. When my son was young, I did not find it in the middle of the day in the summer sun directly. People do not realize that, even if they use sunscreen, they should always avoid too much sun while moderation is the best policy.

Here are some tips on how healhty to protect our skin from harmful sun

1. If we do not need sun protection, we must seek alternatives to better and healthier. Two non-toxic alternatives are the sun-blocking zinc oxide minerals (studies show that clothing that zinc oxide and completely block both UVB and UVA) and titanium dioxide. They are supposed to be safer products. You may be interested in sunscreen products with micronized zinc oxide as the sole active ingredient.

2. We can use our cooking oils such as sesame seed oil, coconut oil, olive and peanut oils as well as cinnamic acid-rich oil, walnut oil, raspberry, avocado oil, the Oil pomegranate, jojoba oil, pumpkin seed oil, aloe vera, coffee butter, shea butter. All have the UV protection properties and repair damage and provide protection against the sun. You can find many modern sunscreen products that incorporate several of these oils and butters.

3. We should not eat carrots, celery, parsley, parsnips and lime before going to the beach. Studies show that these vegetables contain psoralens, chemicals that can make you particularly sensitive to the sun.

4. We should not use skin care products that contain citrus oils, especially Bergamot (Citrus bergamia). They can increase skin sensitivity to light and cause discoloration of the skin or rashes.

5. We need to apply a thin layer of yogurt, cream, kefir or aloe vera gel-reddened areas to help reduce inflammation and cool and moisturize the skin, so we got sunburn.

Studies show that even if you use a sunscreen and does not burn you, ultraviolet light even suppress your immune system. Choose the right sunscreen product using common sense and explore your options - one that offers at least the damage is the best. And never forget that glasses so old fashioned, a large sun hat, and a tinge of a pretty big tree, perhaps the best natural protection.
